Personality: Caspian is a man with extreme patience and plenty of time to do what he needs. He is a very determined man, even if that determination has him waiting for centuries. He has no problem with waiting, and he is willing to if it is in his benefit most of all. With his age, time is but a simple number.
He likes to succeed and he hates when he doesn't. Because of this, he has developed a bit of a hot temper that can react easily to whatever happens. He holds his tongue with others who are stronger, but he still has a bit of a temper when it comes to reacting to something he may disagree with or doesn't like how someone speaks to him.
Caspian is a man of the old code. He is loyal, protective, filled with honor and always looking to do what is right. He holds on to his knightly ways as they are what keep him who he is; a knight of the old code.
Never once does a man not think a plan through. He has learned from history not to jump in blind-sighted. For one to survive in this day and age, one must be skilled and knowledge in tactics to keep living. Far too much could go wrong if he didn't think things through and cover his bases.
Deep down, the man can be a romantic, and just like his paints he has an internal war going on between darkness and light. He wants to feel and have emotions, but he has been given no point to do so. So why try? Instead he lingers on his sarcasm and humor to get him through life and finds that brings him a superficial happiness.

History: Caspian was born to the royal line of blood in the family of Neill. He wa first born, and named Caspian the 3rd in honor of his line, as his father was Caspian the second. He grew up with a loving family, and raised with the men to learn how to be a warrior. Of course he had to grow up first though. His first leap was the fact that at two years old, he would become an older brother to his sister, Brigit. At the time, he was partly excited and partly jealous like any sibling, but he did as a big brother should and helped his mother and father.
When Caspian was four years old, he was graced with the fact that his mother was pregnant again, this time with twins. The nine months came and went but when his siblings were born, the grave news hit; his mother had died in the process of delivering the two. At the time, it didn't make sense to Caspian and he always asked daddy where mommy was. His father never spoke on it and simple patted the boy’s head and walked away.
Over time, Caspian simple stopped asking about his mother, not sure what had happened, but was a big brother and had to show strength for his siblings along for his father. If he wasn't strong, they wouldn't be either. He went through life doing what he could to prove himself to his father, but nothing ever seem to be enough. It was like, without his mother nothing would ever make his father happen again. His father fell ill when he was eight years old, so while his father tried to heal up, he went into training as a warrior and hunter for the tribe. He did his best for his siblings and his father, trying to show how strong and good he was. Family was important to the boy, and he didn’t like losing his family. Like all royal men, Caspian was trained under the ways of being a knight, to learn how to live and honor his family and his name.
For the next near ten years, he became one with the kingdom, doing what was needed to survive and living off the land. Caspian was a natural at knowing when storms were coming and when the seasons were about to change. It was an odd talent, and in some ways people believed he was blessed by their gods. He took no heed to the words, just believing he had devoted himself to the tribe so much that he would do anything to ensure their safety. When Caspian reached the age of 27, he was placed into an arrange marriage by the his father. He told him it would bring a peace between the two kingdoms, and the two would be allies in case the need was present. Caspian gladly accepted, glad to help out the kingdom in this way. He traveled for weeks to the tribe, and gave his gives to the Vellabori leader, and then accepting Macha, the woman he was to marry. The two were wed, and then with a horse in hand, took Macha back to his village.
That next year, Macha and Caspian had a son, who they named Ciaran. They were a happy family, and he had everything he wanted. He was a warrior, a proud man, a father, a husband, and a brother to his siblings. There was nothing more he could ask for. He watched his boy grow up, loving each day and watching his progress. He enjoyed these moments, but with this happily ever after would come the damaging ending.
When Caspian was 32, he went out hunting. However, he was ambushed, and he didn’t know why or how. When he came to, he was tied up, and he saw some fellow knights also in binds. Caspian then saw a woman behind them, with a flash of fangs. Whatever it was, it sent him into a fearful state, which he had rarely ever experience. What happened next was the worst ever for Caspian. The woman, Derdriu, killed his friends in front of him, allowing him to watch as they tortured them and then killed them. Afterward, she tortured Caspian, turning him in a 3 day period.
He awake no longer as human, but as a vampire. He was confused, lost, and broken. Not only was his family taken from him, his life, his love, but now his own flesh and blood was turned into something that wasn't supposed to be. The woman welcomed him as a brethren of the vampires. Vampire.... he had never heard of a term. He stayed with her for a few months, learning what he had to do to survive, but one night, he fled. He could not stay with Derdriu. She made him do awful things to people around him and it left him broken mentally. She would make him read the minds of others, would make him feed and kill people. If he did, she would torture him for nights at a time. This is why he ran. For some reason, the woman did not pursue, leaving him to run.
Caspian wanted to run. There was no doubt about it. When Caspian had found his chance he disappeared from his sire's side and just ran. He didn't know if or when he would be caught again by her, but he didn't want to deal with her anymore. She was dark, twisted, demented, and just nothing he wanted to deal with. So he ran to the world of Lithuania.
Caspian didn’t have much to do after he left that place, and decided to explore the world and see what he was missing out on. Much of it was his curiosity of nature, what the world had from one spot to another. He traveled all over, finding an interest first in the Amazon forest. Being a vampire, he had no worries about something killing him or hurting him, and most animals instead left him alone as he was the ultimate predator. He for a village that caught his interest, and his powers made him appear like a god to them. They welcomed him in, allowed him to feed on them, and he felt at peace. To be surrounded by natural beauty along with people who accepted him made him feel as if he was back in the Lithuania. They were a welcoming bunch, but he did try to keep them from worshiping him and treating him as if he was an ultimate god. He preferred for them to treat him normally. He stayed with them for over two hundred years, loving the natural environment and the people. He learn their language, taught them how to survive from the ground, and even taught them how to make better shelters and other things that he had learn from his history.
Soon after this, Caspian left the village, moving on to the more populated side of Ireland, back to his homeland. He wanted to see what was changing, how things were becoming. It was called the medieval age, when knights and princesses were around, and the king protector his castle and people. There was much about this age that inspired Caspian. He feel in love with the people, the codes, the ranks, everything. He decided to join the ranks of knighthood, to become a protector of the people and to help them out. However, he had to make it work and found another. He came clean to this man, told him everything he was. He had a son and a wife, and at first he was fearful, but over time he came to see Caspian for who he was; an honorable man. The man accepted him and taught him everything about being a knight. Caspian caught on fast, learning the codes, the ways of the knight, how to use a sword and everything else. In time, he was knighted and became one of the knight guards. He enjoyed his lifestyle here, and whenever he needed, he would disappear and go to another kingdom. He didn’t age and he didn’t want people to fear or suspect anything.
Over time, this age disappeared and a new one began.
Caspian had decided in his attempts to atone for who and what he was, he joined the crusades, every single one of them. It started with the very first crusade, which lead to the second and third. No matter what year, age, or area it was in, Caspian participated in it. Course he had to stay away from religious signs and churches, but somehow he manages to do so. The king of France had organized this Crusade, called the Seventh Crusade, to fight religiously. This was one of his personal favorite crusades. This man was not religious, but he found that it may be his redemption for what he was; a demon. What made him feel that he made redemption was when he saved a young family from another vampire. It was late in the night when he was traveling on horseback and he heard the screaming. In his white attire and the mark on his front of the clothing, he jumped off the horse and busted into the house. The vampire was also framing himself as a crusader, but he was using it as a way to get into people. The house had no title, no name to it. It was abandon and the family living in it had found it for the last few days which meant he could enter in without invitation, which explained how the other vampire entered. The mother was near death as the vampire tried to kill her. The son and daughter were crying in the corner, and the father was knocked out by them. Caspian ripped the vampire off the woman, and in a quick fight kill the vampire. He healed the woman, and as she came to, she looked stunned by Caspian. She called him an angel, and the look on her face, of complete appreciation, he felt at that moment he knew he was doing the right thing. The woman knew that Caspian, too, was a vampire because of how he attacked and reacted, but she said he was blessed for what he did, and she would never forget it. Caspian helped the family and he slept there for the night before moving on. That night, that crusade, made him believe his atonement was within reach, that he wasn’t the demon he believe he was, he could still be a protector and blessed by the gods. He couldn't handle any religious items, but he could still handle a sword. So as times went on, he would participate in any crusades he could get into. He moved from town to town, meeting with anyone he could and joining the Crusades. He participated in the Seven, Eighth, and ninth, as well as the Hussite, Varna, and Siege of Belgrade crusades.
After all his years of this, something snap in him. It was a young woman whose beauty could not compare. He didn't know what she was or who she was, but her shining white wings brought him back for a moment. She traveled with him, bringing him slowly back to the humanity that he had lost. Something itch inside of him, what was known as marking. When he realize what it was, he realized he could protect her, as she had protected his humanity, but once again, the love he felt for another woman was snatched from him. His sire had found him and broke her neck, then ripping out her heart. She simple laughed at him, saying he would forever be hers.
Caspian attacked the woman, causing an earthquake and ripping apart her head from her body. He threw her head down into the pit of the earthquake and burned her body. She would never again hold claim of him and he would forever be free. That was, to be free with his heart broken for a second time. He took the swan, putting her heart back in her chest and giving her his special burial. He cracked open the earth, laying her down in it and then covering her in flowers. He positions her back the way she should look, and then with tears running down his face, allowed the earth to cover her up. He found himself in Italy where he was wandering with no hope.
At the end he went to England and settled, encountering the plague that ravage the countryside. Being he was a vampire, he plague did not kill him and in fact he found this to be a ground of feeding. The death and blood overtook him and he fed with no bounds. He became a darker man, losing his morals and respect for life and killing whoever he wanted to. People didn't know it was him, they thought the plague had been doing it.
After some time, Caspian finally came out of his darkness, realizing what he was doing and just couldn't stand himself for it. He was a protector not a killer.
Caspian decided to part ways, and stumbled upon a man who was painting. He was amazed by the detail the man had and something sparked in him. Something that felt alive. So he studied under Michelangelo. The man was a painter, an artist, a sculptor, and so much more. He found a passion for the arts, something that allowed him to feel alive and once more contented to life again.
From 1564-1600 he stayed within Italy, learning as much as he could from the artistic filled city. He even learned how to play instruments, compose music and so much more. The man had what he needed to live, but that is all he would have. This little piece of life was his humanity, and if he couldn't keep with the arts, he would rather die.
During all his time in living, he followed his family, protecting them, after he was freed from his sire so long ago. However, he got word about hunters following his bloodline. He knew his family had supernatural blood in their system, with his heighten senses now. He went to attack these hunters, but fell into a trap. He watched as these hunters massacred his bloodline, all his family in front of him. To his knowledge, everyone in his family was killed, but in secret, a young woman and her husband and two children had vanished. Where they went, no one knew. Caspian assumed his bloodline was destroyed and he was the last living one, but in truth his line lived on.
From nearly 1600 to the 1700's the man became a nomad, wandering the world and painting what he saw. There was so much beauty in the earth that he couldn't help but stop when he saw something he was afraid he wouldn't see again. The jungles, plains, people of the society, anything he could paint he would. He kept everything of his safely packed away, and no one would ever see it.
Caspian was blessed in the 1700’s. He settled down on the outskirts of Spain, finding a beautiful land to live on. He had a huge property of land, with a small house though he preferred to be outside most of the time. The house was only there for a place to sleep during the day. A young woman lived with him who owned the house, so that no one could enter without her permission. During a night when he was taking care of some fruits in the garden, he decided to head to the market. This is where he met a young man, one he thought he would never meet. He was another vampire. Caspian took the man under his wing, inviting him to stay with him. Caspian taught him the ins and outs of being an vampire, how to use the earth and allow it to calm him. Caspian became extremely close to Julian, seeing him not only as a friend, but in some ways a son. He became very important to him. Even when it came time to part, Caspian told him he could always call on him when he needed him, and he would help him out. When he left, Caspian stayed in Spain for the rest of the century, as the man and Caspian had been together for only a few years.
Around the 1800's he grew curious of the America’s and moved to live in the land of 'riches' and gold. Around 1820 he settled in Chicago. The life of people were alive, even at night, and he music and drinking was astounding. For once, he felt alive again.
Between the 1900-2000, Caspian simple moved from place to place, finding pleasure in what he had but then growing bored and moving once more. He didn't like to stay in places that held no notion to him. In 2000, he finally settled down in France and stuck around the artistic halls that held his love and passion. This had more than just dancing and music, but also painting, sculptors and so much more. Anything artistic could be found there. He settled down in France and has been here for nearly 13 years and living happily.
Now, to his knowledge, his entire bloodline family is killed, but in truth it wasn't. See, in this present day France, there is a young woman who is human, and no idea of the blood that flows through her veins. She is one of his descendants, and one day he will find her, by the name of Lylli Valentine. But that...is the future to come.
